FightNews rankings: 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Nate Campbell 3. Joel Casamayor 4. Juan Diaz BoxRec rankings: 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Nate Campbell 3. Juan Diaz 4. Joel Casamayor Late add... Ring Mag rankings: C. Joel Casamayor 1. Nate Campbell 2. Manny Pacquiao 3. Juan Diaz
Kelly Pavlik #1 What a joke that site is :rofl I might ask Gary Lockett for a fight then i might crack the top 20.
Good that FightNews doesn't have P4P rankings or else you might see PAC's name on the no. 1 slot. Ring Mag has PAC as the no. 1 P4P and 3rd at Lightweight behind Casa and Campbell. Overall PAC got the highest ratings...
My point was that Boxrec has the worst rankings possible. You cannot use them to legitamize an argument. They use a computed system and their rankings are always horrible because the system is flawed. Last year they have Pacquiao ranked #7 P4P once. ESPN has Pacquiao ranked as the #4 LW in the world.
Now I remember, FightNews has Joan Guzman at no. 6 BTW, that thread was deleted, so I made this up again...
I feel a logical look at the subject and a consensus of boxing writers is better than using certain sites. Boxrec is bad for rankings. I don't agree with Fightnews rankings, but there are worse rankings out there. Pacquiao should be #1 P4P without a doubt....I don't see much logical debate against that.
Who cares, nobody reasonable does. You don't get to #1 by beating David Diaz, end of story. No matter how good your achievements are, you don't get ranked highly in a new division hypothetically, you have to go out and achieve it.
Boxrec sucks, i forgot beating 4 fighters, one of which never fighting at world level before, sent you to the top of the list, absolute joke. Hopkins should be above him still by a mile. I dont know how they screw there little gay points system up but they do it somehow. proper sh1t site
