Tyson beats any version of Holmes or Ali, he has the stylistic advantage, they are tailor made for him to beat up.

I feel like Armstrong wasn't shot either. Don't get me wrong he was certainly was past his prime but no one who is completely shot beats a prime Sam Angott.

I didn’t realize the question. Ray would probably beat hank prime for prime.

That was the “shell” of 23 yo Mike. No Rooney, no longer training properly, etc, etc., - already eons beyond his prime.

In fact, Mikey was so enamoured with his partying ways in Tokyo he didn’t even want to break from same in order to make time to get in the ring and actually fight Buster.

That was simply a well paid doppelgänger we saw in there with Douglas. Not the “real” Mike as seen on highlight reels against lesser opposition. 42-1 underdogs were beneath Mike - so why bother, we all “know” how it’s gonna turn out - right?

The loss to Douglas therefore does not count and never will - not least for the fact that it heavily interferes with Mike’s projected successes in the realm of fantasy fights. The likes of Ali and Holmes are toast against Mike, never mind that fella, Buster who?

Matthew Saad Muhammad always said he would have beaten Dwight Muhammad Qawi in his prime .....does anyone agree with him ?

I’m a huge MSM fan and not a particular fan of Qawi and I think Dwight probably beats any version of Saad and by stoppage.

His counterpunching style is just made for Matthew and I think he’s too hard to hit for Muhammad to ever really rally from behind like he was so well known for.

Cause Tyson was not prepared properly and cause his skillset gradually diminished after firing Rooney.
Plus, Douglas hit harder than Ali and Holmes, and he was slightly heavier. And his style is not exactly similar to theirs. It's not like danced around like Ali.

Maybe not, but he was at the end of his career in terms of his physical capabilities.
