Which fights make you think this? It could be during a fight that you realise that you are watching something epic or maybe during the build up to a big fight and you get all psyched up.

It could involve two top fighters displaying their outstanding ability or just two average fighters who may be limited in skill but aren't lacking in heart and give everything in the ring. Maybe when a fighter is comfortably winning a fight and then BAM!!!- he's been KO'd.

Any examples of any of this? Moments when you have realised that boxing is an amazing sport.

    In recent months?

    Margarito-Cotto.

    In years before,

    Trinidad-Vargas
    Corrales-Castillo I
    Gatti-Ward I
    Bowe-Holyfield trilogy

    Just to name a few.

Great choice. The build up to the fight, the fight itself was all epic.

eubank vs benn 1 and 2. they were wars and really got me in to boxing. unbelievable fights and build up. benn genuinely hated eubank as well. so that gave it an extra edge. what a great era for boxing that was thinking about it.

Last one was Margarito v. Cotto for me as well. Boxing is a shitty business, but when fights like these get made and when they live up to the hype and more, it's all worth it.

i loved saturday night klitchko v peter .

not hard to please, just give me a big fight and i look forward to it , it does not have to be a mega fight.

8 times out of 10 they are chess matches anyway, both fighters able to negate the other.

Chumps like me often miss the finer aspects of the fights, though, sean...

It takes a lot of experience and knowledge and expertise to really understand and appreciate what you're seeing...

    Vasquez vs Marquez III.

I almost had a heart attack. Wow.

And then Pac vs JMM II. Unbelievable. That athletes can even do the things they did in that fight boggles my mind

And Cotto vs Margarito. Look up toughness in the dictionary, you will see Margarito, jogging towards Cotto with a big smile on his face after taking flush shots for 6 rounds straight.
