FIRST apologies for the clunky title, couldn't fit what I wanted to convey in there. Also apologies in advance for any poor examples used to illustrate the message.

Want to know example of fights or fighters that made lesser fighters or not as good fighters look like ATG/world beaters when they fought said fighter (A side fighter)

A vastly inferior fighter (every other fights) but that night the lesser fighter hit lightning against the star fighter (i.e Douglas vs Tyson (that's the best example I can come up with or Spinks vs Ali 1).

    or (if using fighters)

Broner (vs Ponce De Leon, Quintero)

Tramell, George Crowcroft and kirk like this.

    Do you mean like

    Hopkins/Taylor
    Cotto/Trout
    Morales/Raheem

    Or like

    Duran/Laing
    Judah/Baldomir

The second type of list Durant/Laing and Judah/Baldomir, the first list the fighters may have underperformed but it's not like Taylor/Trout/Raheem were complete no hopers going into the fight that was made to look good.

Sugar Ray Robinson losing to Tiger Jones.

To be fair, Ray'd just come back and Tiger was a tough, skilled guy. Robinson was an 8-1 favorite.
