Do you guys know, how on earth are we in possiesion of the below recording in fantastic video quality from the 60s? Is there more of them? How were they recorded? I'm subscribed to this guy = This content is protected He uploads alot of classic fights in 60fps i've rewatched alot of classic fights from him recently including the Arguello vs Escalera fights.
I think because from the 80s on you get bad VHS recordings uploaded, but from the earlier fights, you get someone who had actual film and uploaded it. Actual tv and movies didn’t look anywhere near as bad as early VHS recordings did. by the time you get to 90s footage, it seems like you get DVDs that were uploaded, so the footage is decent quality again. And obviously modern era is great.
I am subsribed to that guy too, fantastic stuff. However, he's simply trying to tune already existing recordings up a bit. You can clearly see that the footage from my OP is a different type of recording. For example, here is another footage of Ali Folley fight.
