Fedor vs Randy Couture,Andrei Arlovski or Josh Barnett-Pedro Rizzo II :
Im about 95 percent sure Fedor will come out the winner when he fights Sylvia and id like to see him follow up on that fighting another top contender. Couture of course was the dream fight and id stil like to see it IF it can happen this fall or winter but if it cant I dont wanna see it next year Randys age will catch up with him eventually I dont want him fighting a guy like Fedor at 46, Barnett or Rizzo would be cool Rizzos always got a strikers chance and Barnett posses a tough matchup with his well rounded game. Then theres Arlovski who can match Fedor with the Sambo background and his striking is fantastic IMO Arlovski would be Fedors toughest matchup atleast on paper.

Nick Diaz vs KJ Noons II :
Call me a sucker but after seeing the little altercation after Noons-Edwards I wanted this rematch even more. The 1st fight ended with the cut which I cant standso I really hope with that and the bad blood and these 2 being Elite XCs best Lightweights I hope it gets done it should be a war. I know Nicks got Thomas Denny and possible Hayato Sakurai in Dream this September but lets hope it gets done in December or earlier.

BJ Penn vs GSP II :
IMO BOTH have improved since there bout 2 and half years ago. Both men are on great runs right now and I really cant see anyone at there respective weight classes being a tougher fight for them besides each other assuming GSP goes thru Jon Fitch. The 1st fight screamed rematch the 1st round obviously it goes to Penn,2nd obviously GSP but the 3rd could be GSP since he did score 2 takedowns but Penn got one of his own and did way more of his back then GSP who just layed on BJ. These 2 need a 5 round fight to prove who is the better man. Matching these guys up in November would be great.

    Shogun Rua vs Sokoudjo :
Really I just hope Shogun returns this year but him fighting Sokoudjo would make it even better. There was alittle bit of talk between them about a month ago and style wises I believe it would be explosive and would mean something in the 205 picture.

Thats just a few of mine please add your own :good

Fedor vs Arlovski- I think Arlovski has the skill on the ground and on the feet to give Fedor a great match. Arlovski is also great at Sambo and is more athletic-faster/stronger which should reduce fedor's skill advantage, I've never seen anyone handle AA on the ground or even bring him there if he decides if he doesn't want to go.

I think AA can stick and move and beat Fedor on his feet.

Agreed. Fedor is unbelievably strong. Speed and fluidity standing goes to AA though.

After the way AA has fought lately I'd expect him to run screaming like a cheerleader for the enitre fight if match with Fedor.

You know...even though you can never be certain about the outcome of a fight. (for instance , sylvia could pull the upset of mma history..)...I'll tell you something...

AA would be annhilitated on the ground. Do you know why AA didn't want any of Werdum whenever he was on the ground ?...Precisely because he's not dumb enough to risk getting subbed... Kharitonov had the same reaction ...

Also AA doesn't have any of fedor's credentials in the sambo department. Even Aleksander has better ones than AA. You've never seen anyone dominate AA on the ground for 2 reasons.

1 because no one is good enough to beat a guy like this on the ground (apart from werdum , nogueira and maybe mir or gonzaga )

2 because he never had to fight a ground specialist...or rarely...and when he did , he'd avoid the ground like the plague (like he did vs werdum)

Now , as good as werdum is on the ground...we've seen his limits against Nogueira...Fedor is the anti-BJJ by excellence.

I'm not saying he can't beat fedor on the ground. But it's not likely...

lol AA has a better body ..I give him that..not necessarily more athletic. Fedor will eat him on the ground..there is no question.. This man Fedor..wins the world open weight Sambo championship as a hobby! For christs sake

On their feet..Id give the advantage to Fedor as well..Lets see how AAs chin holds up when he gets cracked

Fedor v. AA would be an excellent match up. Fedor vs. Couture, Barnett would be awesome too. Let's hope one of these fights happen!

He likely wanted to keep the fight standing with Werdum because A has the advantage on his feet ...plain and simple.....Werdum could not get him to the ground and that rendered Werdum useless in that fight.

I wouldn't say Fedor's stand up is better....although he does throw heavy hands(haymakers) and they are effective but AA is much more technicle and also has great leg kicks. AA isn't th easiest guy to hit either.

Either do I really, but I hope Fedor can get by Sylia and AA beats Rothwell and they can be matched up. At this point my interest in couture is going down by the day. Of course Barnett vs Fedor is always an option.

I understand if you disagree with me and I respect your opinion as long as you back it up with examples - but the constant hateraid is weak.
