What are some good recent ( last20 yrs)examples in which a slower fighter effectively timed a faster fighter and was able to win?

Chavez and Camacho, he still had speed.

Leonard was faster than Duran as well.

You can add Mayweather and Tszyu over Judah as well, not massive differences in speed but they fit the bill.

Teeto the Duran victory over Leonard was a huge upset! I wonder what the odds were Duran winning. By the way Manos de Piedra picks Marquez to beat PBF along the same lines.

Really? I never knew he tipped Marquez, i'm still not quite convinced though, this fight is at totally different stages in the participants' relative careers, who knows though? Marquez' will to win is about as indomitable as it gets in the current boxing scene.

I bet someone on here would actually be able to tell you the odds of Duran winning that fight Ricardinho, sure someone will post in time.

Carlos Ortiz when he twice defeated Ismael Laguna after Laguna first defeated him.
