It could only go on for so long before this happend , lets be honest on his own Floyd sells under 1 million PPV's. He fights Canelo , Cotto , Hatton , Oscar , JMM and they bring a massive audience on their own.

Fight Guerrero , Maidana and so forth and you get the results of 850,00 buys.

Floyd looking off at the press conference and talking about this possibly being his last fight is just desperation.

It wouldnt suprise me if the numbers are really bad as the only really good fight on the card is probably Khan vs Collazo and neither are PPV greats.

    Thoughts?

It doesn't matter what Mayweather does. The haters will say he should have fought Khan. If he would have done that, they would be saying he should have fought Maidana. Next they will say he should fight Martinez. Then he should fight Ward, then Klitchko. I understand not liking the guy - he has done plenty of things to warrant that, but if you can't see he is the best boxer of this generation, then you are either blinded by hate or just don't know anything about boxing.

Don't worry, this fight will make $1.1 million+. I'll be shocked if it makes anything below that or anything similar to what he made fighting Guerrero.

No, the "haters" will say he should fight Pac, GGG, Martinez, someone that actually makes a statement. Floyd ducks jives and misdirects, but makes millions off of the delusion. I credit him greatly for his deftness.

Why takes risks for millions when you can still make millions fighting whoever the hell you want?, common sense sadly prevails.

Floyd's legacy is ruined. No one will talk about him after he retires. At best, maybe someone will remember him when they talk about Pacquiao.

Strange that a fighter can be 46-0, and have ruined his career in the process...but now I've seen it.

It's fight week and it seems this mayweather fight is not getting the buzz or the hype.

press conference was ordinary compared to his previous fights.

    Haha, follow a different sport.
What you said is like saying Messi is not one of the top 5 footballers today.

mayweather isn't as big a draw as him and his nuthuggers like to think. as someone already stated its his opponents that bring the numbers up, cant break no records on his own, he doesn't have the style and it doesn't matter how good you are.

I would be surprised if this card doesn't do over a million. Floyd vs Guerrero did 840k with a weaker undercard.

I remember when Floyd fought DLH and that fight broke all sorts of records, the boards went berserk saying that Mayweather has no fans, no one buys his fights, that it was only because of Oscar the fight was huge etc etc. Since then Floyd has become one of the highest paid athletes in the world.

Also funny how on one hand he only cherry picks his opponents and fights bums, on the other hands these bums are the ones that apparently bring his PPV numbers up.
