I make nothing of it. Urine is POST PROCESSING. Blood is pre-processed. There is a reason blood is tested. The "Balco special" wasn't known either and passed the urine testing.

Then you defend his BS stance on blood when he mentioned 30, got caught at 24, and now gave at 20. Then Roach was on another interview talking about the amazing rounds he put in sparring post blood test! So now this is principle not fear of needles? Not being weakened? Nothing he says gels with his actions, yet you *******s lap it up.

Crap example. You are pitting friendship/business against business/more lucrative business. If you wanted this crap to make sense you would have said your friend had a business proposition to make X and someone else offered 7X provided you drug tested. Then you say it was about friendship that is why you didn't take 7X not the drug tests. Anyone with a brain would laugh in your face.

So you are saying that a person has to come up with a reasonable guess of what you are on BEFORE they can justify a test? You fool. :blood

It isn't what I think. What have ALL of the experts on the subject of doping said? Olympic style is the only way to go! Which of them agreed with Manny? None of them! Answer those questions and you know why Manny's position is complete crap!

Team Pac has now gone through how many BS excuses?

    -- Fear of needles
    -- Weakens him in training
-- USADA is biased in favor of FMJ
-- Principal of following the commission
-- 30 days only acceptable as cut off date
-- 24 days only acceptable as cut off date

The list keeps growing! It is easier for you clowns to believe in the improbably rather than to challenge Pac. I wonder if Bonds would have liked for it to go down that way.

......there are loads of people in this forum that are purposely turning their heads and not willing to let Pac's embarassing and ridiculous excuses register on their myopic hard drive called a brain.

So a brawler who was showing signs of wear, tear and age magically can now throw punches non stop for 12 rounds against a big WW doesn't raise anyone's suspicions? Hell he can even turn it up when he gets caught late in the fight. 12 rounds of high volume punching and not a sign of fatigue?

It is easier to believe that Pac is Benjamin Button than to think he might be taking PEDs. :yep

I wonder what you would say if a person suspected of a crime kept changing their story to authorities? That is about the fastest way to focus all attention on you as the #1 suspect. You guys are so gullible it is hilarious.

Now you go on to give a pass to the OFFICIAL Team Pac members for constantly botching things, but you hold FMJ responsible for his dad who isn't even an official member of his team? Hilarious.

Again. It is easier for you to believe that a 31 year old guy with 56 fights can punch non-stop averaging 102 punches per round and moving for 12 rounds than to believe that Manny might be taking PEDs?

That tells me you have NEVER boxed before. If you did you would know how hard it is to punch for one round let alone 12 championship rounds with a guy who constantly pressures you. Go to your local boxing gym and give it a shot on a heavybag. Maybe Pac is Benjamin Button?

I could possibly see this, but in this context I think it points to something off. Two things point to something different. Clottey never used distance as he did against Margarito and Pac was VERY hittable when he did let go. He just walked up and stood there. Pac never stopped punching. That brings us back to PEDs.

Two things beat speed (other than more speed), timing and fatigue. Clottey has decent timing and he pressured the hell out of Pac. Somehow, Pac never showed the slightest sign of fading or slowing. However in your world this makes perfect sense... :nut

Yes. Being Pac does not exempt him from taking random blood test. Same goes for Floyd or any other fighter. Boxing needs to monitored to keep the cheats out.

Exactly. No participant is beyond suspicion and more is always better. If everyone is clean more stringent testing under the supervision of professional medical staff should never be an issue.

Where is your pitchfork and torch for every other non-random blood testing match up that is taking place right now???

    Oh!! That's right.

What are you going on about with post/pre-processing? You do understand that because the "Balco special" was a novel drug, blood tests wouldn't have detected it either, don't you? Blood drug tests aren't conducted by sending a sample through a machine that spits out all the components and then the results analyzed for anything out of the ordinary. You have to run the sample against standards that have all the known drugs in them and then any corresponding matches in the sample register as positive. If the substance being used isn't in the standard, you can't test positive.

Nah, you missed the point. You argued that Manny refused to negotiate with Floyd inside 24 days, and then gave a blood sample at 20 days for the Clottey fight. This, to you, was proof that Pac was lying. Just because you'd be willing to suck it up and deal with the fear of flying because your boss expected it doesn't make you a liar for declining to voluntarily fly because you claim to dislike it.

Are you just winding me up? I find it hard to believe you could really be this obtuse. When asking someone to concede to an invasive test that the person has objections to, there must be a reasonable explanation of why the test is necessary. If Manny had accepted blood testing every other day and Floyd wanted testing every day instead, Floyd would have to provide a reason for why every other day was not sufficient. If we knew of no PEDs that required blood testing to detect, Floyd would have to give an explanation of what the blood testing aims to determine.

If you were suffering from a severe pain in your hand and you went to see a doctor and he told you he wanted to give you a colonoscopy, wouldn't you want to know what he suspected might be wrong that would warrant such an exam? Suppose he said, "I just wanna take a look inside your ass." Would that be reasonable to you? I think you'd demand a better explanation of what he suspected that would make it reasonable for you to consent to the exam.

If 24 days for the blood cutoff + postfight blood + unlimited random urine tests wasn't good enough for Floyd, he has to present why that schedule is inadequate to cover all bases.

All of the expert quotes that insist on RANDOM testing are speaking out against a context where ALL the testing dates are known. Of course if there is no random testing, a well educated user could cycle around the dates. Those expert quotes don't apply in this case, because unlimited random urine tests were accepted. Again, it makes no sense to simply insist that random blood tests are needed to prove a fighter is clean if there is nothing that the random blood tests could better identify.

No you idiot. I understand that across the board testing is not possible financially.

The point is not if testing is taking place. The point is whether or not enhanced testing is a REASONABLE REQUEST. It is. So if any fighter asks for it and the purse is big enough to make it a non issue for both participants I am for it.

If it is highly publicized making boxing look great? All the better.

well, when u throw that many combinations for a full 12 round fight without being tired, nonstop. its a reasonable thought.
