Fights So Bad You Couldn't Finish Them

I can understand why people like George dislike fights on the basis of them being sloppy and not well-fought fights, but I thought they really let each other have it in that fight. Don't you wish the rematch was somewhere on YT?

 

I can lose interest in a fight, and take my eyes off it from time to time, but there's only one fight I've ever snoozed off on, Rubin Carter vs. Jimmy Ellis. There's not a more unbearable fight out there. Except for Rubin Carter vs. Farid Salim.

 

Is it just me, or does it seem like the 60s was one of the greatest decades of all time for boxing, and then you see a lot of these fights you'd think are great matchups, and they absolutely SUCK! Now, I still think the 60s is one of the greatest decades of boxing, but there were a load of stinkers that's for sure.

 

Povetkin vs Wlad, i like Wlad but he should've been DQ'd

 

If it weren't for its significance, that is to say, if I'd never heard of the fighters before, I would probably have changed the channel about halfway through the Klitschko-Fury fight.



Ditto for Valuev-Holyfield.
I think both men should have gotten an 'L' for that snooze-inducer.

I mentioned Buchanan v Laguna 1 because of the film quality. There might be a better version of it somewhere, but the version I’ve seen on YouTube is really awful and hard to watch because of it.
