That Lewis would have won the fight regardless of the stoppage.

    :rofl:rofl
    MIS-interpretation means not interpreted accurately.
Your example should be in the thread "fights that were interpreted exactly as they should have been"

Salido-Gamboa. People look at those wack ass score cards the judges gave off for it and pretend it was a domination when in fact that fight could have gone either way because of the 2 point deduction from Gamboa in the last round and the KD in the mid rounds. That was already a 3 point swing and Salido definitely won rounds too. Also Gamboa was seriously hurt during the KD and people claim that was just an off balance Gamboa but he got up on shaky legs and defiitely avoided Salido for the rest of the round.

I believe I scored the fight for Gamboa by 1 or 2 points at most. IB I remember said scored the the fight the same and actually he could have seen Salido taking the win as well depending on what you were scoring more of.

It is a great fight and I recommend you guys go back and watch it.

    The Rumble In The Jungle....

The less hardcore fan believes that Ali took a beating for 8 rounds until George got tired before knocking him out... in reality, Ali was winning most of the rounds (or at least on even terms), scoring the more telling punches throughout, to the head at least, Foremans best work came down stairs on Ali but most of Foreman`s punches were slipped or blocked.

Ali broke George down thru tiredness AND well placed punching.

Mosely was definitely behind, if Mayorga wasn`t such an amateur, the fight was his.

Mosley turned it around a few rounds before the ko. He was possibly down but he did much better than people remeber despite both wrestling and looking clumsy. Possibly should've been up before the ko but he turned it around sooner than when the ko happened. Like 3-4 rds sooner.

I remember thinking the fix was in for a few seconds.
He could have saved us the horrendously dull Pacquaio fight if he'd kept his eyes open and got to the bell.
And that horrendous slanderer Nasim Richardson wouldn't have ****ed up poor Tony Margarito's career.:nono

And by outmuscling the bully. Ali actually pushed him back and had his way in most clinches.

De la Hoya vs Trinidad - If you win 7 of the first 8 rounds, you lose the fight if you run for the last 4

Leonard-Duran I and the idea that Leonard merely "chose" to fight Duran's fight.

Also, Mosley was up on two of the cards before he stopped Mayorga. It would have been unanimous if only the first knockdown counted.

Vitali-Byrd (how anyone can say this was even close before the injury is beyond me)
Holyfield-Moorer (Evander had a diagnosed heart attack during the fight - of course he was sluggish late)
Donaire-Darchinyan (not nearly the domination some make it out to e before the huge one punch KO)
