Haha great bit of fiction, you should be an author.

Marquez wasn't as hurt as you made out and he had him figured out for the rest of his career after a couple of rounds in that fight.

The only one out of the two who has been badly hurt is when Pacquiao was hibernating in a deep sleep for a couple of months after the 4th fight.

Ha yep true. In this case though the fight certainly could have been stopped seeing as how Foster proved he was prone to early stoppages only a few rounds later.

Historically, Moore-Durelle was a famous comeback after Moore was knocked down three times in round 1

Oh, a guy with an agenda - great. You mean to tell me that Marquez was not hurt by the knockdown in the second fight? The right hook that sent him reeling and buckling at the same time right after it? The counter left hand around the sixth rounds that dipped the knees of Marquez and sent him stumbling forward into the ropes?

Or that Marquez wasn't well on his way to getting stopped by Pacquiao literally within the same moments of when Marquez knocked Pacquiao out?

Pacquiao has obviously hurt Marquez a great deal of times between their fights. If you don't hust have an agenda then you will see every thing I just clearly pointed out right on tape if you go find the fights/moments.

That's the first fight that came to my mind.

Check out the final round, what a turn around:

I have no agenda, i call a spade a spade. I've stated many times on here that i rarely favour one fighter over another. I love just the sport and may the best man win etc.. etc..

Michael Katsidis hurt Marquez more than Pacquiao ever did. I don't agree Marquez was on his way to being stopped in the 4th fight. If you've watched Marquez quite a bit, you will know even if he's a bit buzzed, he is often more dangerous that way.

In the first fight, if the referee did stop it, it would be a bad stoppage because Marquez had all his senses there, wasn't that hurt and he just had difficulty with Pacquiaos style at the very start. He then went on and schooled Pacquiao after that for most of the fight and their remaining fights, resulting in him knocking Pacquiao into orbit.

It's no disrespect to Pacquiao, great fighter but i just don't see Marquez being as hurt as you made out. Marquez is simply a great fighter than Pacquiao and has since proved it. Pacquiao has never had any chance of knocking out Marquez properly.
