Not sure i agree Pacquiao was alot more one dimensional in his early career and was very hittable, even Barrera had to fight a very passive technical fight vs Hamed because he was that wary of Hamed's power. It would be a very dangerous game for Pacquiao to be getting into a war vs arguably one of the hardest hitting Featherweights of all time.

I think technical fighters like Salvador Sanchez, Juan Manuel Marquez, are poison for Hamed but an aggressive more one dimensional Pacquiao who was very hittable back then would be a winnable fight for Hamed.

I reckon Kostya Tszyu was all wrong for Floyd Mayweather.

I think Winky Wright would've had a horrible style for ODLH i know ODLH was out of shape vs Sturm and it was at Middleweight. But he still had immense trouble with Sturm's jab and high guard defence that he couldn't penetrate. I think Winky Wright would've gave ODLH the same issues and would've clearly won a UD over ODLH at 154 just like he did to Mosley.

The thing is with Pacquiao is he'd be the first guy Naz was in with who'd be - IMO - a better, harder hitting athlete at the weight than him. I agree the technical fighter's would likely make easier work of him as styles make fights but think Pac's the only one likely to actually finish him.

Amir khan, margarito and paul williams for Floyd.
Not saying he loses those fights but stylistically it will be tough which is why he avoided the risk.

Also old George vs post prison Mike Tyson.

Im kind of pissed that this fight never happened. I think Foreman is a stylistic nightmare for Tyson especially when the latter isnt as elusive and explosive as he was in his prime

As much as I love Golovkin, I even said it at the time, Ward and Froch would've both beaten him fairly handily.

I think Naz hits harder than Pacquiao at featherweight. He is one of the hardest hitters p4p. Thst fight would go like hamed vs kevin kelly and could go either way.
Pac was more one dimensional back then.

I think ggg is tougher and more skilled though.
Also think bhop would gave schooled frochbif they had a catchweight fight at 170 for example in 2012.
I liked Froch as a fighter but he could definitly be beat by elusive guys and great technicians like we saw with Direll and Ward.
Hopkins in his 40's was schooling guys like that easily.

That's a big claim. I know Pacquiao was pretty much one handed back then but that left was still a sledgehammer.

All three give Floyd something to think about. I'm still gutted about what happened to the Punisher.

Golovkin would have been brutal for Cotto at middleweight had that fight been made.

Maidana would have been a sitting duck for Pacquiao. Possibly his 1st stoppage loss.

Benn would have been completely outclassed if he stepped in with Toney. Very likely a stoppage occurs.
