    The 3 stoppage losses on Pedroza's early record are very decieving IMO. He MAY have been drained for 3 of them, and was definitely on the up and up. I think he'd take the Gomez blows at Feather with no worries personally, Gomez didn't carry his absolute devastation up to 126 and Pedroza easily went 15 with some pretty decent fighters.

    That's long been my suspicion as well, but it's still rather extraordinary that the increase in weight from bantam to feather translated into such a dramatically improved ability to take a punch. True, Gomez was never again as devastating as he was at 122, but he still managed to momentarily buckle Sanchez, enough so to make a rematch between them a viable prospect. I do tend to agree with you however.
