If these had met in the Summer of 1997 as scheduled, who would have emerged victorious. :think

I've got Norris in a shootout where both men taste the canvas (maybe more than once)

Summer of 97? Tito wastes him

2-3 years earlier, Tito comes from up the canvas and wins a tough fight

The weight difference shouldn't matter because Tito was always big for 147 and moved up to 154 in 1997 for a fight, only staying at 147 for the potential of big money fights (namely Oscar)

I basically agree. If it were in 94 Tito might win the first fight and get outboxed in a rematch.

I think Norris carries the early going of the fight but Tito breaks him down as the bout goes on and stops him dramatically late in the fight.

I would seriously doubt both remained on their feet for 12 rounds

It's conceivable that Norris could fight the perfect fight and outbox him for 12 rounds and win a decision, but I wouldn't bet on it

I think Trinidad would get to him

Again, this would have to be the Norris of 94/95, not 97 when it was proposed for Norris to fight either DLH or Tito. Norris declined rather quickly. Apparently it was from too much sparring, the sparring played a big role in his brain damage, as he didn't take prolonged beatings in his fights. His chin wouldn't allow it

Do you think Trinidad would hit the deck at any point

    I really rate Tito.

    Think Mosley smokes him though.

Trinidad would probably beat Norris not because Norris wasnt the better boxer, but because his chin was horrible and Trinidad was a good finisher. I think Tito beats Mosley too. Only because Mosley would fight him and not box him. Tito was hard to outfight.
