    I think Ray would have won a close points fight .he normally found a way to win.Ray was asked about fighting McCallum. too risky and not enough money.there you go.

    I love Ray but at 154 I think Mike may have been too tough .. he was not going to fade like a Hearns and he also had an incredible chin .. he matched Leonard on reach .. Mike was the bigger man fighting at his natural weight and I think he would have been too much ..

    We don't know much about Ray at 154. He looked good against Kalule, but a little short of stamina. On the other hand, it was merely a stay busy fight ahead of Hearns (and quite a stay busy fight at that) so he wasn't in absolute top shape.

    Mike looked better against Kalule, but that version of Kalule had been KO'd by Moore just some months before...
