    Mugabi was definitely a legit top ten guy when he fought Hagler, it's just his top ranking across the board is a bit dubious.

    Foxy doesn't seem to be able to grasp the well connected Mugabi getting a fight with Hagler has nothing to do with McCallum cheating himself out of the fight by not fighting ONE SINGLE middleweight contender and and being happy to sit on his 154 splinter title.It does not in any way prove McCallum was ducked.

    Doubtful because I think he came up in weight.

    Mugabe was rated at middleweight at the time and was considered a killer as he'd won all of his fights via ko. McCallum has proven to be a great fighter over the course of his career but wasn't really rated as a middle then as he was still at 154 when Hagler retired.
