Any fool can tell that was garbage to sell the fight. How people always fall for Mayorga's antics is beyond me. Before the fight he talks **** insults you and your dead mother and afterwards he kisses your ass and admits it was just to sell the fight. Something tells me if Darchinyan and Donaire ever fight again it will be a perfect candidate for this thread.

I agree that Mayorga does this **** to sell a fight - but that does not mean it does not **** off his opponents. The people he fights don't like the disrespect and come in determined to make him suffer. It has nothing to do with people falling for his antics. If you're preparing to fight him, and he slaps you in the head you can't say it wouldn't get under your skin.
How about RJJ/MG II. After the DQ, and then after MG was running his mouth about RJJ being a cheater, RJ came in determined to get a KO. Probably one of his last good knockouts.
Only Mayorga fight where I believed his antivs was the Vargas fight. Both of them insulted eachother for months as it turned out with the postponment,traded punches at a presser and I think altough it didn't start that way there was genuine animousity between them and even then after the fight they kissed and made up.Both showed class or somewhat of it at the end.
Pavlik Hopkins was heated right at the final bell. Hopkins really got inside Pavlik's head in the build up and throughout the fight.
