I recall watching the first fight between Brian Mitchell and Tony Lopez. The telecast i saw had 2 South African commentators. I recall them starting out sort of neutral but then just turning into a couple of rah-rah Mitchell fans. You know its bad when 2 commentators elect to not even mention the big overhand right that was being frequently landing on their man's jaw.

Larry Merchant during Ike vs Byrd. Merchant was practically giddy when Ike knocked Byrd out.

Foreman did my head in a few times i can think of a few examples off the top of my head....

He had James Toney winning nigh on every round vs Montell Griffin in their 1st fight.

He had Poli Diaz beating Pernell Whitaker.

His commentating in both of these fights was unbearable.

And just to give you an example how out of touch Foreman's scoring was in the Whitaker/Diaz fight none of the 3 judges gave Diaz a single round.

Also Whitaker out landed Diaz 304-153.

I think Merchant could be very eloquent and articulated when expressing himself but yeah, the amount of haterade he drunk was something else.
I recall RJJ calling him out during a Byrd match commentary, don't remember which one, and basically saying him to stfu lmao
