Greb vs Tunney (or Greb vs just about anyone he fought)

So many great fights from 1950 downwards that are lost to time because the technology wasn't there in enough abundance to record them.

I know, we're supposed to pick something like Greb vs Tunney or Walker, and fights like that. And while such fights certainly would be high on my wish-list...

... I would also love to be able to watch a 14-15 year old Nipper Pat Daly school opponents with his superlative skills! From what I've read, that must really have been something - but I'm afraid no footage of Daly exists (as far as I know).

Any John L. Sullivan fight that went at least a few rounds. Even Sullivan past his best with Corbett would give me a better idea about the fighter. Can we get an idea of how he fought from watching others shortly after his time, or was something else going on with John? I've read conflicting reports on his style, from Swarmer, to Slugger, to Slugger/Swarmer. I'd love to see him fight, especially with gloves, just to see for myself.

This was for the duration light heavyweight title while Gus Lesnevich was in the service. Both Bivins and Marshall had unbelievable win streaks going over top-level opposition. They were solidly #1 and #2 in the world. By the write-up it is quite intriguing. See below

Jimmy Bivins 175 lbs beat Lloyd Marshall 164 lbs by KO at 2:42 in round 13 of 15
    • Date: 1943-06-08
    • Location: Lakefront Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio, USA

"Jimmy Bivins kayoed Lloyd Marshall in the 13th round in his first defense of his "duration" light-heavyweight championship before a crowd of 18,000 at Cleveland Stadium. Marshall commenced with a fast pace, winning the first three rounds on his speed. Bivins took the next three on his superior punching power. Marshall took the 7th, dropping Bivins with a right to the head. Pacing himself nicely, Bivins scored with hard left hooks and rights to the body during the next three frames. Marshall was floored for a nine count in the 9th and again in the 12th, but recovered each time. The coupe-de-grace was a hard right to Marshall's cheekbone in the 13th as he fell back into the corner from a series of Bivins' left hooks." -London Stars and Stripes
      • Marshall lost the 4th round due to a low blow.
      • Unofficial UP scorecard (after 12 completed rounds) - 7-4-1 Bivins
      • Attendance - 18,448
      • Gate - $61,195
