Bronze, I hate to bring this up in case you put any effort into trying to find this film, but I remember well when this took place. And I too thought it was going to be a terrific match. I was a Briscoe man and thought Bennie would win. However, he didn't, but most of all the writeups at the time in all the magazines said it was as dull as could be. It was said it was 10 rounds of Griffith jabbing and Briscoe chasing and that was about it. Sorry to burst a bubble here. I do think it would have been a good fight when they were younger.

I remember ages ago seeing a couple of rounds of it on YouTube in my recommended I assumed it was pretty common (I was young) ignored it for a while and found out later It's quite a rare bit of film. Stuff surfaces all the time only to be enveloped in the deep all the time. The Thai side of the internet for instances has TONS of rare fight film we can't touch.

I don't think it was the second fight which you saw. I am virtually certain the first two fights were not filmed. The third and fourth fights were filmed, and though Willie lost both of them, he still had some great moments in the third before his shoulder forced him to quit. and in the fourth before an injury to the same eye which was so badly injured in the second fight forced him to quit likely because he feared losing his sight.

Maybe- It was just the title it said "rounds x to z Pep vs Saddler 2" Never clicked on it. I didn't know it was rare and only just started watching the lower weights.
