Normally I would say things would be differently with fighters knowing it is 12/15 rounds. They could pace themselves differently and turn the pressure up when they need to. A couple of fights that I do think would be different were Taylor-Hopkins 1 and Bruno-McCall. These fights were fought at a snail's pace. Sure there's always the chance at a fighter getting a second wind, but I don't think the titles change hands here in 15 round bouts. Hopkins looked fresh in the 12th, and had been in many 12 round bouts. I don't think he would have been that tired with an extra 3 rounds. Taylor said afterwards he had a lot of nervous energy, which seems understandable. He was dominated in the last round, and I think he loses in a 15 rounder. Bruno was never a specialist in the stamina department, and was exhausted in the 12th against McCall, a slow paced bout. He probably gets stopped in a 15 rounder.
