I felt a bit let down with Usyk vs Gassiev. It was a brilliant performance from Usyk, but it was just so one sided that it didn't live up to my expectations.

That one wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great. Provo didn’t have lots of success but he did rock Lucas. Most of the fight I was spent saying to myself “this guy’s chin is ****ing insane”

    I’m sure Berchelt-Miura didn’t really deliver.

I remember people getting hyped about Murray-Rosado for some reason. Was marketed as ‘Beautiful Brutality’

Lewis vs Holyfield 1 - Lewis fought scared and Evander didn't have a clue of how to close the range and all topped off with a bad decision, rematch was a massive improvement though, good fight.

Seem to remember the Morales-Barrera rematch was a disappointment.

It was a great fight, no KDs but plenty of drama and huge shots landed. I went to see it live and it was tremendous.

    Wlad v Fury

Took 9 rounds for Wlad to throw a right hand.

Fury jab to the body was all he needed to win.

    Poor

Wlad vs Haye. The biggest most hyped fight of 2011. With all the prefight build-up, it seemed a knockout would be guaranteed, one would definitely fall. The so called biggest fight of the year turned out to be the biggest non-event of the year with the most talked about post-fight topic being Haye standing on a table talking about how he hurt his little toe.

Came in here to say this. It had fight of the year written all over it but it ended up being just a fairly one sided 1-2 fest from matthysse. Providnikov landed a couple of good shots but never wobbled Lucas.

it wasn’t an awful fight but it fell massively short of expectations.

    Alfonso Gomez vs Toshihiro Kamegai
It had 2 guys who could both excite and put on a show, but Gomez turned boxer and Kamegai had no answer, a real underwhelming one

Klitschko vs Fury. For a fight that ended the decade long reign of one of the most dominant champs in heavyweight history, it sure was boring.
