What fights did Mayweather take where you think he should have fought someone else, who and why?

Every fight at lww and ww that he didn't face one of these:

    Tszyu, Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Williams.

The Oscar fight we can let him away with because of the cash, but every fight he has had at lww and ww were easy options because he could have been fighting one of those five instead.

To say every fight is just hating and i don't truly think you even believe that yourself.

The ODLH fight was at 154. None of those fights you put out there made any sense.

Tszyu - Took on Hatton and RETIRED
Mosley - Mosley ducked, but now it is on
    Margarito - LOST to Williams
Williams - LOST to Quintana and FMJ was retired when he made a name

Because basic ass David Diaz was the man to beat? STFU! Why didn't Pac take on Zahir instead of Morales? Williams instead of Clottey?

    Please.

Well, Mayweather shouldn't have fought Baldomir. I thought so before, and definitely thought so after...also, he shouldn't have fought Marquez.

Every fight he had at 140 and 147 was easier than any of those five.

Every fight he had at 140 and 147 he could've been fighting one of those five instead.

Therefore, my initial post was right and true. :good

Well obviously because Floyd thought belts had value. Now he has no belts they are all useless dust collectors.......

"Only thing belts do is collect dust"- Floyd Mayweather

    He said that himself.

    Zoo fight was impossible.

    Mosley was at 154.

    Cotto never wanted Mayweather.

    Margarito, blame Arum.

Williams? Come on, why didn't Mosley or Cotto fight him?

Their was no way he was going to take on a top welterweight after coming out of retirement, and Marquez made sense as he was more popular and would make more money than anyone else at welterweight. Factors such as money has to be taking into consideration when thinking about something like this.

He should not have fought Zab Judah after Judah was beaten by Baldomir.

He should have fought Baldomir for the title instead and then fought one of the top 5 welters of the day instead.

He shouldn't have bothered fighting Hatton, Hatton had no business fighting at 147 as the Collazo fight was a gift and Hatton himself knew that he was no real 147 fighter, as did his trainer and Cortez' referee performance aside - Not really worth it.

Again - Margaritto, Cotto, Clottey, Mosley or Williams were all at 147 at the time.

I don't have an issue really with JMM in principle, but if he was never going to make 145 then he should have just fought a proper welter anyway.

Finally we have the Mosley fight, whew.

I wanted Mayweather and Cotto to fight in 2008. Neither side seemed especially interested. Mayweather negotiated a second fight with De La Hoya and then "retired". Cotto followed Bob Arum's plans for a showdown with Margarito.
