Well, the world cried out for Fury and Chisora to do it a third time, and they delivered.

I know people won’t like this, but Evander was inconsistent.

 

McCall vs Lennox, McCall wasn't fighting he was crying and turning his back, "trying to get myself emotional", I saw it as him being bribed to throw it..

Bobby Chacon vs Cornelius Boza-Edwards

Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo

Shane Mosley vs ODLH

 

In 2019 or 2020 clearly.

 

I was going to say this but McCall’s career after that fight was mediocre and never made merits for a title shot.

 

Yeah it's a pity we never actually got to see a proper conclusion to Lewis/McCall, Lewis would never be able to stop McCall with his head screwed on right. And it would be interesting to see if McCall could land another home run shot in the 12 rounds, more than likely Lewis would win a pretty one sided decision. But as a fan watching you'd always be thinking "what if". I do remember McCall stopping Akinwande in the last round when he was a mile behind on points and stopping Seldon late on aswell, so McCall does have some late round stoppage power.

GGG-Canelo before Golovkin was 40 years old. Of course he'd already been aged for years, so the whole rivalry was dodgy.

Froch-Groves. Groves was pretty unlucky with this rivalry because both fights were very competitive (the first Groves dominated most of it) and yet he got the premature TKO the first time then a one-punch KO the second where the cards were close. On paper people would say he didn't deserve it because of the stoppages but it was a good matchup and I could see why he wanted the third. It might have happened if Froch was younger.

Kovalev-Ward. What the hell even happened with this series. Corrupt decision the first time. Treacherous trainer and nut-shot finish the second. Ward almost certainly wouldn't take the third though even though he'd have a better chance of winning properly due to Kov's slide.

 

Dr La Hoya-Mosely. No way did Shane win the rematch and he even knew he lost that fight. Should have been 1-1 going into a 3rd fight.

 

Tapia-Ayala is another one that deserved a 3rd fight. Tapia gave Ayala a boxing lesson in the rematch and got screwed on the cards.
