If Foreman had got his head straight in 77-78 and boxed like he did in the late 80s/early 90s, he would have been a handful for the likes of Holmes. Still think a very good boxer would get the better of him on points, but the puncher's chance (with a bit of defence thrown in) never went away.

Think Frank (rightly or wrongly) saw himself as past that level at their respective stages of their careers.

Liked Horace though, eye injuries did for his career, but 16-0 (12) and outright Lonsdale belt winner is still a career to be proud of

Eubank, Benn and Collins each vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Should have worked out some super series — first fight vs whichever in UK, second vs whoever is next in USA … if Roy Jr wins both third fight is in venue of his choosing, if he splits or loses both he goes to UK again.

Locally speaking, annoyed that Fitzgerald v Fowler #2 never happened. The buzz in the North West was massive for this fight. Sells out Preston, Liverpool or neutral Manchester. Gutted.

On the wider scale, Povetkin v Wilder not happening annoys me. Would have been a great fight.

Wilder v Wlad should have happened. Did they even bother holding talks? My faint memory suggests they didn't. Happy to be corrected.

Azumah v Barry back in the 80s was always talked about exciting a young teenage me but...

The others have all been previously mentioned earlier on this thread.

I suppose that right now, AJ v Fury is the obvious fight we all hope gets made now that June 1st is locked in for Bivol v Beterbiev.

McGuigan wanted no part of Nelson, and he wasn't too keen on meeting Cowdell either. Bruno v Mason is an interesting one, although I fear both men would be too wary of each other to make it a classic.

Herol was a fantastic talent but he couldn’t get it over the line in the big fights

Or was he kept waiting for too long, and was perennially unlucky?

Should have had a shot at Hagler, instead of being 38-0 and having two sets of instructions yelled at him by two different trainers against Kalambay in a "routine" defence of the European title.

I still feel gutted that he never got his hands on a world title belt

Yeah it is a crying shame that he never won a world title, superb fighter.
