Barker started having hip problems around that time and pulled out of a potential fight.

Told this story here before Barker had a huge following was given a huge book of tickets by FW which the fighter always get a % of in big fights so in his interest to shift them.

The book was returned fully intact weeks later. Sadly a fight that never happened but should of.

 

Wonder what Fury thinks in hindsight of not taking on David Price, was a fight due to be made but fell through a few times!

Thaxton - Khan.
thaxton british title, khan commonwealth. both had a string of furious fights leading up to 2008. then amir went for inter-cont route. thaxton gets stopped on cuts then broiling together when khan get obliterated within a round and thaxton was on a euro route. should never let stuff off the boil. not all food improves with time.
