Fights, in which fighters never really recovered from, ruined them completely, win or lose.

Izzy Vasquez after the third fight with Marquez. He laid it all on the line and came away with the victory but his body (and eye) were done after that.

Meldrick won against Chavez (Steele robbed Taylor of one of the biggest W's ever, A fight many awaited only to dominate, but it would cost him his talents, skills, and his life. Look how he speaks. Now, he has to suffer from the brain damage, but even worse, the fact he gave it all and still lost to Chavez!

The Hands of Stone nearly killed poor Davey to death and Moore had the prime beaten out of him permanently.

Hagler, even past his prime, fighting a 26-0 26 KO's killer, took his best killing punches and ruined the beast. The beast got tamed big time and would never be the same ever again. (I mean John Mugabi)

BTW, I only know these fights ruined a fighter.

Solis-Fast food. Poor guy never stood a chance.

    Also, Brewster-Krasnichi, Brewster was done
Pac - Margarito, Margarito should be collecting from his health insurance company.
Hatton -Collazo, Collazo broke through the previously unshakable chin.

Tommy Morrison - Ray Mercer...poor Tommy (RIP)

    I'm recent memory
    Ward definitely ruined Dawson.
Margarito took a lot out of Cotto.
    Salido ended Juanma's career.
    Donaire brought Montiel to ruination.
    Pacquiao retired De La Hoya.
    Pacquiao extracted Hatton's Soul.
Pacquiao made Clottey no longer interested in boxing.
Pacquiao turned Margarito into a pirate and essentially ended his career.
    Pacquiao Nearly murdered David Diaz.
I feel Confident saying that Garcia took Whatever spirit Prescott left in Khan.
Hopkins put Pavlik's desire in a duffel bag and walked away with it.
Pavlik left Taylor and entirely different person, he was never the same again.
Hopkins Put a halt to the steam engine that was Felix Trindad and it never got going again.
Martinez performed a demolition on Paul Williams spirit
Sergey Dzinzurik was a very talented Middleweight until Martinez beat him like an addiction he was sick of.
I honestly believe Provodnikov has taken something very dear and personal to Bradley: in Christianity they call it the soul.
I think Floyd beat the warrior spirit out of Gatti in a way no one had ever done.
Tito Definitely took From Vargas all of the ATG potential he had, it was clear Bargas was never gonna be the same.
    Tito murdered Joppy's career.
Despite having some nice moments since then, it's safe to say that because of Kosta, Zab never reached his full potential.
Ortiz turned it around and finally played the role of soul snatched against berto.
Froch emptied Bute of all the things that make a man's life worth living.
Tarver put an end to one of the greatest and most feared boxers in recent memory.
Mayorga knocked out Vernon's potential to be great.
You may disagree, but the beating Pacquiao put on Barerra in ther first fight ended him as an elite.
I liked Jirov a lot, but Toney left me with nothing to like anymore.
I think Corales ended Castillo's elite status, he was never the same after that series.
Nate Campbell shut the lights out on a streaking star by the name Juan Diaz.
I think it's fair to say that Maidana took Ortiz's confidence.
There is no doubt in my mind that Donaire is ruined.
I'm not sure who did it, but Arthur Abraham is ruined.
    James toney ruined himself.
Vitali gorged on Chris Areola's potential.
Although he had a magnificent career afterwards, I think De la Hoya lost a ton of passion after losing to Trinidad.
Of all the fights he lost, I think the fight against Zahir Raheem was the one that ended Erik Morales as we knew him.
I think Hipkins left a mark that has remained with Antonio and made him something less than the confident brash trash talker he was before they fought.
Someone ruined Tyson, but I Can't decide exactly who.
There's no question in my mind that it was in fact Ruiz who shut the lights out in Holyfield's eyes. Ruiz didn't beat him down he just made Holy struggle so much to the point of Embarrassment considering how much Ruiz sucked .
