    Leavander Johnson- Jesus Chavez should have been stopped before it even began.

    Did you know that at the final bell of Holmes-Cobb Tex turned to the ref & said " Give me 3 more rounds & I'll knock Holmes out he cant hit me no more his hands hurt him too much" The ref , Steve Crosson, verified this when I met him in Dallas. He said Tex was serious when he said it. Tex was one tough son of a gun

    Great shout with the Ike Williams one, He even turned to the ref and said, what do you want me to do kill the guy.

    Resto had the same low life trainer that Pryor had in his first fight with Pryor & we now know what was in Pryor's bottle which was a fast acting Asthma medicine which in a tough fight like they were in made the difference.He Lost his license for good & is a piece of garbage.

    Yes when I watched it I had no idea about the signs of brain damage, on the other hand I think the corners and the commentators would have been more clued up surely?

    I totally agree, I suspect in these circumstances the ref gave the favorite and hot prospect a bit more time than he should have.

    Another fight where the ref was a masochist - Ike Williams / Beau Jack.
    Even after Ike turned to the ref with a look of astonishment , then waved the ref in to stop the fight, the ref did nothing, Jack must have been hit by 15 unanswered punches, such refereeing should preclude the man from ever being the 3rd man in the ring, licence taken away for good.

    Johnson should not have been licensed to fight anyone at that point. They matched him towards the end of his career against a nobody, over in Europe, so he could finally win a world title. Then they match him against Jesus Chavez who was a pretty decent fighter who he should not have even been in there with, and Johnson gets killed as a result.

    I agree I wanted Benn to win but even right until the end I thought McClellan would still win and had the upper hand in most of the fight

    Watson shouldn't of been allowed to come out for the 12th round vs Eubank.

    Richie Sandoval took a frightful beating from Gaby Canizales that should've been stopped way sooner.

    Eubank Jr vs Nick Blackwell another fight that went on far too long that led to Blackwell being seriously injured.
