I will never forget when Jim Rome called out Don King for making Tyson-McNeely. Quoth Don King:

"I was just trying to give a white Irishman an opportunity to fight the champ."

If you think that fight was pointless, then I suggest you re-watch.

Pacquiao-Bradley. If Pac's winning streak had to come to an end, it might have well have been against Mayweather way back in May.

    pacquiao-bradley

bradley was just an okay boxer, had no business with pac in the ring.

pac shouldve fought marquez for a fourth time or just sit out and wait for a last fight vs floyd.

one that instantly springs to mind....calzaghe v manfredo jr

a **** poor choice of opponent in a stage of joe's career where he was actually starting to get some proper recognition stateside, the fight was as shite as it was on paper.

    Pac-Mosley-
Shane hadn't won a fight in 2 and a half years and looked like garbage in his previous two fights. Had no business being in there with Pac and it was a lousy fight that made Pac look bad too. The outcome was known from the day it was signed.

    Pac-Margarito-
Antonio shouldn't have been let back at all, and he shouldn't have gotten the shot at Pac anyway because he looked sub-par in his comeback fight against a C level fighter. We all knew Pac was going to destroy him and aside from proving his toughness, Margarito's career was ultimately cut short due to the damage to his eye.

    Holmes-Ali-
Ali was in no condition to get in the ring with a fighter of Holmes's calibre and it showed. Holmes didn't even want to fight him but he couldn't refuse several million dollars. Ali is lucky Holmes wasn't hitting him as he as could have.

    Alvarez-Mosley-
Shane hadn't won a fight in 3 and a half years, looked like garbage in his 4 previous fights and most already knew that Alvarez would be laying heavy leather on Shane. This fight only proved that Shane most definitely can't pull the trigger anymore but he still takes a great shot.

Any Roy Jones Jr fight of the last 4 or 5 years. Roy is completely shot and him getting KTFO like he does is not doing his health or legacy any favors and should not keep happening.

    Wright vs. Quartey. :verysad

Winky was Ike's friend, and he convinced him to cash out in a fight he had no hope of winning (being well past his best, fighting a MUCH bigger man who does a lot of the same things well as him, in his opponent's backyard, without even a valid puncher's chance due to Winky's chin & defense)

He should have just left the guy alone when he was ready to walk away from the sport (again) after feeling he got jobbed against Forrest.

    It was a pathetic spectacle.

No need for Ike to have that fourth loss -and only crystal clear one - on his record.
