The only filmed Mike Tyson fight I’ve never seen in full is the Bonecrusher Smith fight. I’ve only seen parts of it. I heard it was terrible, people called Smith “Boneclutcher” and “Bonehugger” because he spent so much time grabbing onto Tyson.

Wlad-Iggy was high level stuff. Sorry people don't have the eyes to realize what they are watching.

Those old keystone cop fights put me to sleep quicker than morphine.

The only ones to suffer brain damage from the Jimmy Young vs. Muhammad Ali bout were the viewers.

It was the sublime pairing of two of the most preternaturally gifted heavyweights of their generation. Timing, sense of distance, complicated rhythm erupting into raw violence. I watch it at half speed in order to note as much of the nuance as possible.

The ability to watch Wlad/Ibragimov at half speed and live to tell the tale? Now, that's what I'd consider to be preternatural!!
