Golovkin vs Abraham in Germany. GGG speaks german too. Golovkin vs Groves in U.K Anyway Golovkin main goal is to get all the belts at middleweight division. Also the biggest money fight for GGG would be against Canelo, of course if GBP lets him to fight GGG.
He'll have the exact same thing happen AT SMW as he had happen at MW. Groves, should he win the WBC belt, will undoubtedly defend against Tony Dirrel and Bika first. While DeGale fights Martin Murray and maybe Periban or Love. Then, the focus will be on a rematch domestically. GGG gets froze out. SAUERLAND OWNS THE WBO. Zurdo likely takes the WBO TITLE from Abe/Stieglitz winner but it'll have to be by clean KO. NO WAY HE LEAVES GERMANY With a decision over there. And if he gets the KO to the body....it's a DQ loss or NC as it will be ruled low. The WARD fight is 2nd best next to Froch, but what hoops will he have to jump thru to get that fight. As of today, there's been no other communication between ROC AND K2 other than ward ain't quite ready just yet. Enzo Mac is wards next likely opponent.
And.....if Zurdo DID come home from Germany with the WBO TITLE..... No doubt that JR, even without a solid win, gets first shot at Zurdo.
A 24/0 Beterbiev finally exposes the 44(41)/0 GGG in a grueling 11 rd war as GGG says no mas after each are down 3X in the fight. Every HATERZ Inc finally rejoices....been telling you all for yrs he was nothing but a hypejob
Or if Beterbiev can't beat him either, he'll just have to invent a time machine and challenge Ray Robinson and Mohamad Ali. He'll definetly be exposed then.
I think Froch in the UK sells well. And I doubt many feel the same, but I think Golovkin vs Ward in the US does pretty decent numbers, with the right promotion and build up. Meaning Ward needs to get his name back out there.
Ward needs to fight again, but yeah. Golovkin himself has enough fans now, Ward has that level of B-side credibility where all of GGG's fans who could make it to the fight, would make it to the fight. There arent really many "casual" fans of boxing, just more hardcore, less hardcore, and general fight fans who split attention with MMA. Every fight fan would want to watch GGG-Ward, if they started planning a PPV now even I think they could pull that off. Especially if they stack the card, which is especially important with general "fight" fans who are used to having full cards on PPV.
If team GGG conceded the 168 limit, do you believe Ward would concede to the rehydration clause and the VADA TESTING????? Also????? What would ward have to do to get his name back out there!!! He's never left. He was commentating on 1/2 of HBOs big shows. He has just never had a large FANBASE for a multitude of reasons. Primarily how he froze Bute out of the S6 and refused to fight him afterwards.
Jones commentates on HBO, and doesnt have a boxing fan base like he used to anymore either. Commentary and fighting dont really translate in terms of ticket/PPV fan enthusiasm. Its all about that B-side credibility anyhow. Regardless of how many fans Ward has, since Ward is universally considered GGG's toughest challenge within his weight range, theres no way any Golovkin fan would miss the fight. Not many people might care about Ward fighting for the sake of Ward fighting, but everyone who knows the fight game knows who Ward is and would want to watch Ward fight Golovkin.
