Fighters would have trained for 15 rounds and things would have been entirely different, you can't base what these guys did training for 12 rounds in a 15 round fight.

A fighter fighting a 12 rounder would train just as hard if he were to be fighting a 15 rounder.

Its not the training aspect leading to the fight that different, but the pacing of yourself during the fight.

Obviously a fighter sensing urgency is not going to fully step on the pedal in the 10th or 11th round of a 15 round fight, when he would do so if it were a 12 round fight.

Euro-level challengers are generally a more well-rounded class of boxers.

    Likely Hopkins Taylor 1

And probably Hopkins vs Pavlik and perhaps Hopkins vs Tarver

I am pretty sure about the first 2

Me too. Bruno was awfully tired. I can't see him hanging on for another 3 rounds seing as he hardly made it in the 12th

Marquez vs Pacquiao 2? Anyone mention that? Pacquiaos eye was almost hanging out and seemed to be tiring.

its tough to make these calls cause fighters would train differently if it was a 15 round battle as opposed to 12. pretty sure most fighters wouldnt push it to the limit as quickly in a 15 round fight.

Calzaghe would have also stopped Hopkins in in the 13th, 14th, or 15th rounds.

at 15 rounds, the fighters' strategy will change a bit because they will have to pace themselves so they still have enough left for extra 3 rounds.

It would have been stopped when it was whether it was scheduled for 12 or 15.
