Foreman vs Frazier II. Frazier was shot and had nothing left, but still gave it his all, put up the best effort in the condition he was in, made it somewhat competitive and may've even won a round or so! Though it wasn't a great fight or even a particularly good one.

I cringe watching that fight- Fraizer had no business fighting George and it appeared as if Foreman was just practicing some of the new stuff Clancy taught him he was unurgent, methodical and heartfully removed from the fight...

Pacquiao vs Thurman. I knew Thurman wasn’t what he used to be but I honestly thought Pac just was too old

Davis vs Cruz. I thought Davis’ size and power would make Cruz gunshy but he put up a fight before the ko.

I though Tyson Douglas was going to be a quick easy tune up for Tyson. Not just for the upset factor although that is huge, just because Douglas was no joke that night and gave the performance of a lifetime. I don’t think he was great before or after that night. But for one night he came to fight and he went to war...and he won.

Some that just popped in my mind.

Sean O'Grady vs. Andy Ganigan. (I had no idea who Ganigan was. O'Grady had just soundly beaten Kenty, the best lightweight in the world at the time. And O'Grady was considered so big at the time he dumped the WBA belt and his dad started their own org - the WAA - with O'Grady as their first champ. He was champ for about five minutes. Well, maybe not a great fight. Great outcome.)

Jorge Paez vs. Troy Dorsey I. (Again, no idea who Dorsey was. Had a nothing record with no power. Paez was the darling of NBC at the time and was a big ratings grabber. Lot's of power. Very colorful. Was absolutely shocking! And then Tyson-Douglas fought a week later and everyone forgot about it. LOL)

Tyson-Douglas. Honestly, the biggest ever. I was the biggest boxing fan I knew at the time. Tyson was its biggest star. I went to a movie instead of watching it live. (LOL) Didn't even bother to check to see who won until the next morning. Still remember the headline of the newspaper. Front Page. I just stood there.

Erika Morales - Injin Chi. Meant to be a showcase for Morales, Chi was brought over to make EM look good and while Morales got the decision it was an infinitely tougher fight than most expected.

Go check out Shannon Briggs vs Franz Botha.

An overlooked and forgotten HW classic that closed out a great HW era

Byrd vs Golota. I thought the draw was a fair decision also.

Have a few a couple with John Mugabi.
1st one was the "Hard Rock" Green fight.
Green was supposed to be a stepping stone
for Mugabi, a record padding fighter.
Gave Mugabi pure hell. But it proved
    Mugabi could fight through adversity.
The Hagler fight was supposed to be an easy night
    for "Marvelous" against Mugabi.
It turned into a slug fest and a battle of wills with
"Marvelous" finally taming "The Beast" in 11 brutal rds.
The fight probably ruined Mugabi, and took a lot out of
Hagler since both men would lose their very next fights
that they were favored to win.

Gatti vs Robinson 1, after seeing Robinson destroyed vs Cardona I thought Gatti would smash Robinson, turned out to be a great fight!
