After a series of disappointing fights this year here is my list of fights that need to be made in 2012 to put boxing back in the spotlight: Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Cotto vs. Martinez Marquez vs. Morales Donaire vs. Gamboa Ward vs. Bute Rios vs Maidana Make them happen!!!
All great sounding fights but they're not enough to save boxing. Corruption, too many organizations/titles/weight classes, PPV/Premium Cable fights, a weak heavyweight division, and a lack of charismatic fighters, is what is drawing people away from the sport.
that made my night, thank you sooooooooooo much, you've got to be the funniest poster on ESB, man you're good bro :good
Nice list. There are other fights than can be made too like, Rios vs Gamboa would be nice too, Donaire vs Arce, Donaire vs Rigondeux, Rios vs Alvarado, Cotto vs Canelo, Dawson vs Bute/Froch/Ward
VK vs haye Delboy vs helenius rematch Boystov vs seth mitchell Wlad vs areolla in MSG Chambers vs adamek Huck vs pov Steve USS vs top american propect. Joe yanks or wilder Fury vs tony thompson or charr or unistov Thats just some good HW fights HWD is gonna heat the **** up 2012
let me ask you guys, people always say "save" boxing. how would you know boxing has been "saved"? what would need to happen for people to know that boxing has been "saved"? if it needs to be saved in terms of marketability, simply do this, produce a few young mike tysons across all weight classes, a few muhammad alis, naseem hameds, ricardo mayorgas, floyd mayweathers and carl frochs, and throw in a few "great white hope" characters, like gerry cooney. that would definitely save it in america. sense the sarcasm? this "save boxing" business is ridiculous
Come on man froch goes to war in his fights, ward as skilled as his is, doesn't entertain as much but we shall see next week wha be gwanin blud
