Funny, but I just realized that the only complete mismatch of that bunch is Mayweather vs Pacquiao. If that fight ever happens, history will show it as the most highly anticipated fight in boxing history that turned out to be a mismatch.

Good Thread. Dont know how I missed it.
Excluding the obvious. If this could be done as a few events and not each its own paperview. Boxing would be better off

    1 King Abrams Vs Martinez

    2 Soto Vs Khan

    3 Bradely Vs Ortiz

    4 Marquez vs Alexander

    5 Alvarez vs Mayweather

    6 Haye Vs Tarver

    7 Andre Dirrel Vs Ward

    8. Maidana Vs Berto

    9. Nobuhiro Ishida vs Cotto

    10. Angulo vs Paul Williams

2011 was a horrible year for boxing. There were a handful of fantastic fights but so many disappointing moments that it really clouded my perception of the year. I also think the fans are getting sick of the top fighters not fighting each other. People are sick of Pacquiao and Floyd avoiding each other. Pavlik went bat**** and drove off the map. Victor Ortiz went full ****** mid fight and let Mayweather knock him out. B-Hop lands wrong on his shoulder because he never spent so much as one day in a judo gym to learn how to fall properly leaving us with another aborted fight that should have been great. Haye/Klitschko was a snoozefest with neither man willing to take a risk to be great. klitschko got the "win" but I don't think he won any new fans.

Thankfully we had a few real gems like the B-Hop/Pascal 2 fight, Ortiz/Berto, Kirkland/Angulo, and even the heavyweights had a great fight between Helenius and Chisora. the real highlight of the year has to be the ascendancy of Andre Ward to the 168 lb. throne. The Super Six tournament should serve as an example of the great fights we can get from boxing when the best fight the best. We need that pattern to be followed in more weight classes.

Not a chance in hell. The party is over for Bute once he gets in the ring with Andre Ward.

Rios vs Maidana would be a well fitted match now. It would be good to see how Rios overcomes his obvious disadvatages. And if he really has a margarito like will.

Gamboa Broner I find bit premature

Mares and Moreno would be good.. but brings up Jore Arce Vs Vic Darchynan 2?
