    Tua beating Moorer

Edit: I guess guys like Tyson and Tua aren't really thought of as attritional, but at the same time guys like Marciano and Frazier weren't not looking to land a big finisher like the Suzie Q, the way Frazier took down Ramos and Foster was not really attritional

Are you including performances like what Canelo does?
I’m not saying Nick Ball fights like him, but when he beat Ford, there was quite a bit of skill involved in what Ball was doing, he was using an offensive jab effectively, and slipping in brilliant lead uppercuts off the back of it, going to the body well, head movement was decent, and he kept his hands up well at the right times, didn’t really get hit clean apart from that left towards the middle-end of the fight, which you could tell he felt, but it didn’t hurt him as in take his legs away at all.
He was also throwing flurries at the right time when Ford was in bad positions which left an impression on the judges in rounds, and his technique in general was spot on, it’s why he was able to find the gaps, he landed the cleaner and more effective punches overall.

So I’m just asking, when you say ‘attrition’ do you mean where fighters simply overwhelmed guys, or do you just mean pressure fighting wins in general?

I still can't believe Mayorga beat Forrest twice.

Steve Collins marauding Eubank Sr in their rematch in Cork Stadium.

Although Collins wasn’t a mauler before that fight.

Pressure fighters in general but if they throw punches in bunches then that's a bonus.

If you haven't seen it, then Myung Woo Yuh vs Joey Olivo probably fits the bill perfectly.

Thanks, been meaning to watch more of Yuh. He’s exactly the type of fighter that I love trying to emulate in the ring. Just a crafty, tough hard-worker who won off his consistent downpour of punches and indefatigable will to win. Not the most talented or flashy but a real workhorse and a fighter I greatly admire.

Warrington beating Selby was a good one from recent times. Josh wasn't expected to win at all but ended up embarrassing Selby.
