    I'll start with Mayweather/Hatton.

Very exciting fight because both guys displayed their best traits. Hatton with his mauling, inside fighting and constant pressure. He really made Floyd earn the victory. But it also brought out the best in Floyd, who displayed amazing pin point accuracy, counterpunching ability, inside fighting and the ability to box and move.

Good choice, Joe Cortez also got a chance to display his skills and show the world why he's soo **** widely loathed.

    Haye vs Wlad

    Wlad: jab, ring generalship, footwork
Haye: head movement, boxing off the back foot, getting on his knees and sucking dick...srsly tho head movement and boxing off back foot

    JMM/Diaz 1.

Diaz put a ton of effective pressure on JMM and made a good showing for himself but JMM's superior boxing ability, accuracy and counter punching were the difference.

    Mayweather-Hatton is a good one.

Pacquiao-Marquez 2 brings out the best of each's strengths during the back and forth.

De La Hoya-Mosley doesn't tell the whole story about Oscar's capabilities, but showcases both men's abilities very thoroughly.

The Cervantes-Locche fights highlight Antonio's boxing skills and Nicolino's defensive Ring IQ.

Barrera-Marquez showed MAB's excellent timing with the jab, body work, and JMM's in-the-pocket counters and combinations.

Chavez-Taylor has both men shine at what they do best.

hearns-leonard came to mind as soon as I saw the thread's title. that bout was a tale of two fights. both fighters were allowed to put on a technical masterclass at different points, in addition to being able to showcase their respective arsenals as well, all the while performing at an extremely high level. that fight is the stuff of legend and a must see for any real boxing aficionado.

    Agree with all fights mentioned.

Morales Pac 1 comes to mind. Landing back and forth and showing their great ability to take a punch.

    Same with Barrera Morales 1

    Mayweather/Castillo 1

    - Castillo proved the Johnston fights were no fluke with his pressure style and underrated defense.

    - Floyd's incredible boxing ability was on display, and his championship heart and stamina when he was forced to fight toe to toe late in the bout and held his own and won rounds while ad******g late fight.

Isn't it ironic that brittards want Hatton to be allowed to wrestle opponents to death, but cry an endless stream of tears when Wladimir holds someone that lunges at him?

Maybe not a great one but ward v froch showed ward's infighting and ability to nullify his opponent's offense, while froch showed his heart, stamina, grit and determination to come on strong late on and put up a fight til the last bell
