I thought Bellew was an over rated ***** before the fight and picked Cleverly to wear him out and stop him in the 11th but in all fairness he put up a hell of a fight and conducted himself well afterwords which is more than what you can say for most fighters

Always a big Nigel Benn fan and was gutted when he lost to Eubank, but that night was very special and I think Eubank would have been difficult to beat by any middle in history.

Withaker-Bojorquez I have never personaly disliked a fighter like i did Sweet Pea. (well until i met Adrian Broner) I just couldnt stand him and even watching him get beat up by Tito couldnt make me like him a bit. That said i hated to see his career end up like that with a chump getting a stoppage W against such a legend. Watching Pernel try to fight throught that injury won me over for sure.



Hector Camacho vs Greg Haugen I
Back when i was a kid i was a hughe Edwin Rosario fan and i became a Camacho hater. That fight against Haugen made me a fan of his. The way he got screwed by that ref taking a point away for not touching golves in the last round. It cost him the belt in a very close fight.

Won me over completely by showing a ton of heart vs Maidana.
Sadly he then proceeded to make me dislike him even more than i did initially due to being the biggest tool in the world after his legit loss vs Peterson.

 

Brandon Rios vs Miguel Acosta

I was not a fan of Rios or his attitude problems and credited his success to BobTheBuilder's clever matchmaking. But he showed a lot of heart in that fight and won himself a new fan.

 

Khan - Maidana

Khan showed great heart to survive the 10th round onslaught, and was class personified afterwards.

good thread. when the hopkins vs trinidad fight took place i was just getting into boxing and was really in awe of trinidad. i thought he was invincible. after hopkins defeated him i also became an instant fan. trinidad really looked lost in there, hopkins totally outclassed him.

Povetkin came close to winning me over in the Boswell fight but the Huck fight killed any chance of me trying to be a fan, but if he fights Rahman i would never root for Rahman
