I have noticed this as well. After around sixty fights Wlad still seems like a fresch fighter.

I understand why many boxing fans where disappointed in Wlad vs Haye, but I was fascinated by the way Haye seemed unable to connect with anything decent (save his big swing in the 12th). Take into account that Wlad relied on reflexes, foot work and head movement to make him miss ... I almost started to wonder if Wlad had mezmerised himself into believing he was black :blood Does he not realize he is a SHW?

Yep. Look at their fights against Lennox Lewis: the china-chinned McCall couldn't last five rounds against Lewis, while Bruno went seven rounds and many people feel that the stoppage was premature.

And I'm sure if Franklin had got two bites at Lennox,he'd have poleaxed him far quicker than Oliver managed.:yep

McCall had power, which was why he could hurt Lewis in their first fight, but Bruno had something McCall never had: DURABILITY. So, when they met, the superior chin of Bruno won the day.

 Yeah his defense amazed me too. He was taller and could've leaned back most of the fight but his head movement and how he keep his hands in position to defend impressed me. Wlad's pretty quick for a big man too. I supported him until I heard about the Mormeck fight but tbh after 50+ fights the man will have gimmies here and there. I actually like Wlad's approach to fighting Haye he took him to school but Haye's constant flopping ruined the whole appeal of the fight.

    Slick and......Ukranian?

How did everyone miss Pryor-Arguello? Good call.

Holmes vs Norton - insane displays of chin and heart by both.

Haye must have felt like in a nightmare in there. For years he had talked about kicking the ass of these slow, robotic East European fighters. And once in the ring with one, Wlad danced out of reach like ****ing Charlie Chaplin.

If Bute somehow gets in the ring with and defeat Ward the expression would be justified :good

If there are certain aspects of boxing you rather not get into, such as chins, plese refrain from posting in this thread.

Of course there are other factors, but you gotta have a chin to TAKE punches. Chins matter in boxing, denier.:deal
