#1- This is ESB. We discuss Chins here. If that bothers you, you should probably think about posting somewhere else. Glass Jaws and Iron Chinned Warriors Exist in Boxing and we will continue to discuss them.

#2- The Chincheckers do not call Ward Glass Jawed because he rarely takes punches, if that was the case we'd call Floyd the same and I don't know of one Chinchecker that isn't a fan of Floyd and doesn't consider him an Iron Chinned Warrior. He is proven. Ward, on the other hand, has been dropped and rocked by feather fisted punchers and he goes out of his way to tie up whenever there is the slightest chance he might get cracked.

Also, the reason we have disparaged him in the past is not only because he has a suspect Chin, but because of the excessive clinching, headbutting, etc. I believe his Chin to still be suspect but I am slowly beginning to like him because of the performance he put on with Froch. He did not blatantly foul and fight like a man terrified to be hit and instead put on a clinic. I can get behind a fighter like that.

I thought about Pryor-Arguello, but like Margacheato/Cotto I, there was a lot of controversy involved and I don't know whether it was superior Chin or crushed asthma pills which allowed Pryor to come storming back and win.

froch-johnson, abraham-miranda I, pavlik-taylor I, margarito-cotto I (say what you will about the handwraps, i'm not margarito fan, but any other fighter taking those shots from cotto would have lost)

Good call. Pretty much all Rios fights are determined by his Chin and power because he is quite short on skill.
