Not sure on that, Sure Walcott was ahead, but Rocky was only 3 rounds behide(If he won the 3 rounds it would be a draw)

And it was a CLOSE hard fought from round 2-12 all the way. Walcott was not relly putting on a boxing lesson here, it was a give and take brutal affair.

True, he was more a stalker than a swarmer.

As a rule though Duran could be both...especially earlier in his career he often liked swarming all over his opponants.

But at that stage and in that fight he struck me more of a stalker/boxer-puncher.

Unless you are talking about Chico :think..in that case I never saw him a swarmer at all.

Duran more so than Corrales. Corrales was strictly a stalker...my bad for the confusion.

I would say Azumah was more of a cutie.

Nelson could do a bit of everything and be cute\fundamentally sound at times, but in those fights he was mostly a swarmer\ pressuring box-fighter imo.

I'd say they fit.He basically tried to brute force his way to victory.

Vinny Paz vs. Aaron Davis (I want to say it was him).

Davis, in the prefight, said that he would fire straights right into Paz's face all night.

And that's exactly what he did.

Sanchez yes, but against Sweet Pea, he was in cutie mode.

If you watch the fight, Whitaker did rightly deserve the comfortable decision.

But this was back in the period where you got a morale victory if you managed to sneak a round off Pernell and I reckon Nelson got four off of the Sweet Pea, which showed IMO, that he did more than just swarm.

Just as this post shows that it's been a long time since you've seen the fight. Nelson was in more full-forward swarmer mode against Pea than pretty much any other fighter I've seen him in, and won at best 2 rounds. It was a masterclass from Pea, arguably his best performance.

Even if Sweet Pea's biggest mark suggests Nelson won two rounds; that is still a couple of rounds rounds more than the majoirty of the Sweet Pea fancy suggested Sweet Pete;), would win in the period...:good
