i am not sure I have seen this before? I think I recall a B&W fight where a ref had to get replaced due to heat exhaustion or something? Anyway I am watching Jung Koo Chang vs Sot Chitalada I, and in the middle of the 10th the ref hurts his foot/ankle/knee? I can’t tell. But the action is halted so the physician can check him out...after a 30 second delay or so, he manages to continue and restart the fight with a noticeable limp. Does anyone else know of fights like this where a ref got hurt or had to be replaced? And does anyone know what happened in this fight? I can’t understand any of the commentary lol

Lol some of them shots were nasty! But that guy at 2 minutes, well, he is a bad dude just smiling and shaking it off
Pernell Whitaker - Roger Mayweather. I think I saw this the other day. The ref got tagged by Whitaker. He got shaken but walked it off well. EDIT: It was in the video as well.
Kenny Bayliss said that the fight between B-Hop and Syd Vanderpool was the most demanding fight he'd ever worked. He said he was sore for a week from having to fight to get the guys to break and getting cuffed in the ribs from elbows. People forget about Syd Vanderpool. He didn't accrue a vast resume of scalps, but he was a formidable figther. Bayliss also said Barrera-Morales III was exhausting as well.
