    Hello,

Have their been fights where the loser actually caused enough damage to retire the winner? Like with Leotis Martin vs Sonny Liston. That is the only time I can think of this happening. Have there been any others?

Marquez vazquez 3. Vazquez won but it ended his career and ultimately contributed to him losing his eye.

Ibeabuchi Tua. According to his Trainer Curtis Cokes Ibeabuchi really started losing it mentally after the Tua war.

    Martinez Chavezjr
Martinez incurred an ultimately career ending Knee injury in the last round.

Leonard won his next 2 fights, Finch & Howard....fighting with the probable Hearns caused detached retina.
