that is a microcosm of why i can simply never like JC. Ive seen women in fights with better punching technique. **** is just disgraceful.

Actually that fight didn't bother me much at all. No matter when Mayweather/Gatti would have met in their careers, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME RESULT!!!! Because Floyd was and has always been SEVERAL LEVELS above Gatti in skill.

However, watching Gatti get hammered by Alfonso Gomez and Carlos Baldomir was beyond painfull. Marco Antonio Barerra getting Slaughtered by Amir Khan was just plain DISTURBING!!! Also watching Tito Trinidad step into the ring over 170lbs was just WRONG!!! He will always be aN ATG WW (147lbs) to me.

Oh yeah...seeing Emmanuel Augustus get KO's last weekend on ESPN FNF kinda' hurt a bit.

Well Said. Historically and by definition a "Combination" is a series of "different" punches in succession (Jab, hook, uppercut, straight right or left). This is just a bunch of *****-ASS punches by a *****-ASS fighter. I have seen Jr. high school girls fight on the playground over a game of Hop-Scotch with better technique than ***-ZAGHE.

I can't believe that there are people that consider him an ATG.:-(

Pac-Morales 3 (was hoping Erik could redeem himself but he was even more shot than the last fight)

Trinidad-Hopkins (when Hop disrespected Tito during pre-fight hype, I was thinking karma would haunt Hop in the ring but it was just not meant to be)

Leonard-Camacho (I really wanted SRL to retire w/o getting KO'ed but he just had to continue to fight over the age of 40. Great.)

...some of Spinks', Hopkins', and Mayweather's fights are horrid due to lack of action so I would never watch a replay of them. And of course we can't forget about most of Ruiz's fights....

...as a matter of fact, yes we can.

Don't have a problem with your disgust for Calzaghe's style. I can see why people aren't thrilled by it. One thing I'd like to point out is...if these so called "***** punches" aren't doing any damage, Manfredo or anybody else would walk through them easily. And that's clearly not the case. If JC is a *****, the other guy is automatically a bigger ***** because he's not doing much when he's covered up like a hermit crab. Not really a JC fan, but I'm afraid I'm going to give him a pass on this one. A single razor blade cut won't hurt you much but a thousand of them will. Ugly but effective.
