I hate when a fighter gets a decision he doesn't deserve, even if he's my fav fighter.

Taylor - Pavlik II for me, I watched it with 10 other Pavlik fans, noone had him winning the fight.

This is further proof that you should not sniff glue while scoring a boxing match. I watched it twice. 116-112 Pavlik, and it wasn't hard to score.

I am a bigger Holyfiled fan than Lewis. BUT as said before, and in the case of the first fight, I was not "Glad" the fight became a draw.

I was pretty upset with the outcome. Even if Holyfiled walk out as unify champ, I would have been more upset. BS outcomes leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't see how you could give Pavlik more than 4 rounds in that fight, but a lot of people did so...don't get me wrong I was pulling for Pavlik as clearly the HBO commentary staff was too, but I saw Taylor landing clean straight shots all night with Pavlik winning 4 rounds at best.

Pavlik controled the ring, he controled the tempo, he threw more and landed more, he was never hurt, but Taylor was, and he kept JT on the defense for the majority of most rounds. What else do you want?

In addition, JT showed more improvement than I recall ever seeing from one fight to the very next. If Taylor would have fought the 1st fight like he did the 2nd, he'd probably still be champ, because judges usually give the champion the benefit of the doubt in close rounds.

Before pavlik/Taylor II I remember a poster saying; "There's only one sure bet on this fight. It won't go the distance." Pretty much everybody agreed with that. I think a lot of people, myself included, expected to see a shorter version of the first fight. We did not see what we expected to see, and that affected our interpretation of what actually happened. The first time I watched it I scored it 116-112, but held my freaking breath waiting for the announcement. The second time I could see that it wasn't as close as some people like to think it was.

Hatton Collazo. Collazo had no future, but Hatton was the star so it made sense to give Hatton the decision.

Mayweather vs Judah. Rules are Rules once Roger stepped into the ring Floyd should have been DQ'd but it would have pissed me off if Judah got the win over that.

That one crossed my mind, but I'll admit straight up that I can't stand gawky, jab happy fighters in the lighter weight classes.

Mosley - De La II would qualify, but then I caught the replay and realized I'd been hoodwinked by HBO hype.

    Good topic! :good

ive watched it a few times and i still have taylor winning 115-113 but there were many many close rounds that i gave the edge to taylor because i admit it, i like flashiness (i also had leonard beating hagler if that tells you anything)

i consider myself kinda like tom kaczmarek in terms of judging except i didn't agree with his vasquez-marquez 3 score
