There are often fights where I hate seeing either fighter lose, especially if both are young prospects. The upcoming fight between Wilder and Fury has me feeling very much the opposite. I was hoping Ortiz would pull off a well deserved upset (which he very nearly did), and I was hoping Vlad would do what he was supposed to do against Fury. Both fighters bring too much WWE nonsense into any equation they're in. Both fighters talk more than they fight live opposition. Both fighters have pretty glaring holes in their games and are not great representatives of the sweet science. There is ONE win over top 5 opposition per fighter, and enough trash talk interviews between the two to crash youtube. I am hoping for a double KO. I can't think of another fight I've hoped both would lose except maybe Haye-Chisora.
Not many. I usually had a favorite. Although McCallum and Curry to me in 1987 I was not a fan of either but I appreciated their style, so whoever would have won or lost wouldn't matter to me much.
Fury - Wilder is good. Two pricks. Mundine - Horn is another one. A complete prat against a guy who made millions in a robbery and against some old men.
Mayweather-McGregor, for bringing the sport into disrepute Mayweather-Alvarez, for both being bellends Alvarez-Khan, as above Haye-Chisora, as above Chisora-Whyte, as above Williams-Harrison, for putting on the least satisfying heavyweight contest I've ever seen I actually want both Wilder and Fury to win though. Say what you want about them as boxers, I think they at least bring some colour to a dull scene. Wilder is too bonkers to take seriously (tampon KO, mannequin KO etc.), and Fury just says what he wants. Not saying they're particularly nice people, but they are more entertaining both as boxers and personalities than the likes of Joshua. I used to dislike Wilder for his epidermis resume but he won me over, same for Fury. Edit: I do like AJ, just don't find him entertaining.
