This is actually a really good example. The use of feints by JMM to make Pac lean back or switch position and then fire a punch (sometimes on the inside) coming forward, and the lateral movement counter-punching are both really good examples of exploiting angles. Interesting because Pacquiao does it to everyone else.

I know, I just felt my man lost the second fight lol. Still, Marquez did utilize feints well and did pretty good offensively despite facing an offensive fighter. His jab was a good weapon too as was his straight hand.

No shame in Pac's performance :good Glad you could recognize the nuances of JMM's success. Really tit-for-tat fight. Every mistake was paid for by each fighter.

Thanks. I just like to give credit. Yeah I love Pacquiao but I feel JMM won the rematch and that Morales won wide in the first fight. Many so-called "fans" make excuses for their fighter and/or discredit their hero's opponent, I do none of the above. I feel it makes me a better fan. All three were classics(Pac/Morales 1 & Marquez/Pac series).

Oh yeah? Im a Marquez die-hard fan myself.

But i had pacquiao winning the two fights.

Simple. Pac was never in trouble, gets rocked? Nah more of gets hit. But that's pacquiao in all of his fights, even against Solis he gets hit like the three stoogies. But if you are one of the more sweet-science lovers....sure take your pick. You should watch Chat-chai Sasakul against Pacquiao if that kind of boxing is your goal. He owned (the sweet-science style you guys love) Pacquiao like no one ever did until he got careless and went to sleep.

I'd say Pacquaio was more roughed up and counter-punched in the Cotto fight that he had to wear an ear-bend afterwards. That's where he got hit in most of his career. But never in any of the two Marquez fights. The thing that separates Marquez from Cotto is that he can dodge a Pacquiao punch better and probably has better chin. But Cotto has way more punching power which gave Pacquiao more trouble.

I had Pacquiao winning because he had effective punches. Punches that meant to hurt. If you love sweet-science so much, i'd say be a fan of Malignaggi but with the chin of Clottey.
