Dawson was fine after the knockdown. Adamek was the one who was shook by a punch to the head and a body shot. Its why Adamek let up the pressure in the 12th. Dawson was fine and would have continued to outbox him.

And the Marciano Walcott fight was not a fair comparison. Marciano was pounding on Walcott all night in a slug fest. Adamek except for the knockdown didnt land much on Dawson authoritatively.

Fighters will react differently knowing the fight is 15 rounds or 12 rounds, so obviously the fights will have some differences.

Chavez-Taylor 1 wouldn't be controversial. Taylor gets stopped in the late rounds, with more time to spare this time.

Fighters would pace themselves and adapt to the extra rounds, so it's difficult to say.

I'm sure the first Chavez-Taylor fight wouldn't have ended in any sort of controversy though.

i think hopkins KO's tarver and winky

having watched mccallum vs toney 1 again recently i think toney wins that fight clearly when in fact i had mccallum winning, mccallum understandably (36) gassed in the latter rounds and was wobbled

i don't think margarito would've got to william, ok he stunned him in those latter rounds but paul did recover well and outboxed him, i think paul would've won even more convincingly

calzaghe would've won convincingly against hopkins and would have more KOs, i think JC would've been the best 15 round fighter of this era

He wasn't all that there, he really didn't land anything significant. All Dawson was doing after the knockdown was run, duck, hold, and land a couple of puches here and there. Adamek was putting some pressure and landing a few blows.

Good call I forgot about that one. There's no way Bute would have survived the 13th, 14th or 15th rounds.

Pavlik Taylor 2...Pavlik stun Taylor in the 11th rd with a body shot, and Taylor waz basically trying to survive and stay away from Pavlik in the 12 and final round....If there waz 3 more rounds Pavlik would have KO Jermain for the 2nd time..No doubt about it
