Fights with no clinches?

    Watson had a unique style really in that instead of clinching he’d wear the ear muffs with those long forearms, even when it was more than justified to clinch in there with Benn swinging & McCallum body hunting (lol)…he’d rather try to block and counter with that stiff, awkward - but technically skilled - woodenness. He’d never move away either.

    My memory could be off as I haven’t viewed it in a long time, but my recollection is Holyfield-Qawi I was non-stop punching for 15 rounds without clinching.

    I was at the fight live in Atlanta — best fight I’ve ever seen live in person.

    Good call, best fight in person ( could be a thread ) was Kaylor / Christie, my oh my, what a brawl, KDs on both sides, with Kaylor finally pulling off the stoppage, added to that, I had a chunk on Mark.
